homeschooling is it right for me?
Please please help! Im moving to Fort Worth, Texas. I'm 14 and going to be in 9th grade next year. I have never been homeschooled before, its hard for me to make friends so i'm going to try homeschooling or cyber schooling. I have questions about homeschooling: 1. how do you start or do you register? 2. how do you learn or get a diploma I also have questions about Cyber Schooling 1. Is it available in Fort Worth, Texas, for grades 9-12 and free of cost? 2. How do i sign up 3. How does Cyber Schooling work? (i tried many websites and none of them gave me good information about homeschooling/cyber schooling in Fort Worth, Texas) thank you i need to know about this information soon

Hello, I am having a very hard time coming up with good direct examination questions for my mock trial class. This case is a "what if" case on the assassination of president JFK. If any one could help me, that would be appreciated. This is Lee Harvey Oswalds statement by the way. The questions should come from here. My name is Lee Harvey Oswald. On the other hand, if you don't get along well, it might save your marriage. Either way, it will solve your money problems. You just have to decide what your priority is.

Read any book by Zig Ziglar for some motivation. Read the stories of others that were in your situation and picked themselves up and are now successful and happy. It is hard work but so is everything worth achieving.

ok, no high school diploma, no ged, hmmmm thats just a stupid question. there are alot of people with a good education trying to get a good paying jobs and are catching their tails to find one, you might be very lucky to even get a low paying job, so all i ahve to tell you is that i wish you the best of luck cause you have quite a hard task ahead of you cause the labour market hasn't gotten any easier, in fact it has gotten much more difficult with everyone graduating with hgher qualifications than before and seeing that you have none, it going to be a very rough road.

I am a 16 yr old high school student and I am an explorer, what else can I do to prepare me for law enforcement? Are there any classes that college will let high school students take courses? or any other things? Fort Worth Area, Texas

Internship at local police department.. Explorers don't learn paper work smarts and that is one main part of the job, to understand how the law enforcement works on papers. How courts work and so on.

Many of the larger police departments now require at least an associate's degree. However a bachelor's degree is much more desirable. My son-in-law graduated with a B.S. in Criminal Science from the University of North Florida and is now with the Jacksonville Florida Sheriff's Office. Having the bachelor's degree entitles him to an extra $ 200.00 per month. Good Luck and may St. Michael be with you.

Look at starting off in the jail to get your foot in the door while you are going to college. A CJ degree will do fine. I was in the military and I only have 36 credits. I wish I would have completed my degree while I was in but now I have to get my degree while I am working. Just keep your nose clean, watch your speed, watch who you hang out with, and keep your integrity... good luck and I will tell you that it is a ery promising career.

Create a file for yourself. Keep track of all things you have done law enforcement related. Ride alongs, volunteer work for the department you are an explorer at. Get a four year college degree in Law Enforcement. Talk to law enforcement officers learn from them. Ask them what happens during a law enforcement job interview. What questions are asked. That way when you apply for a law enforcement job it will not be that you saw an ad and applied and are doing it on a whim. You will be able to show them that you have prepared to be a police officer all of your life. That will impress them and get you hired.

Much of "wanting" to be a police officer is far different from actually being one. The job is probably 85% mental stress. I'm afraid there may not be any schooling to prepare you for that. Here's just one of many trick questions for you. Suppose your that police officer sitting in your car. I walk up to you and say, "wait right here, I want to get my gun". What do you do? Shoot me right there? Wait till I get the gun? Perhaps tackle me to the ground as I walk away? Many situations such as this are faced and it is only you that has to make instant decisions.

Most colleges and universities have criminal justice and law enforcement classes. I would recommend a bachelors degree if you can do it, Most states require that you be 21 to be a police officer anyways. If your close, Western Illinois University has a great program (shameless plug of my school...)

Checked out Remington College in Fort Worth,Texas,really expensive!Really want to be working in the field w/o years of school.Heard about a 12 week course,not really sure about it.Any suggestions?

If this is a person whom you really admire, and you have a long-standing patient-doctor relationships, you might even be able to get a part-time job there, in the office, or an internship as you work on your studies. How great would that be? Also, the dentist probably has assistants who took different routes to the same job, and they might be willing to talk to you...and the dentist will certainly have an opinion about the better way to go, training-wise. Also, look into community colleges, as they do often have programs that are cheaper per credit-hour than 4-year institutions. Not sure about your state, and its licensing requirements, but sometimes, the dentist is able to take a person with minimal training and teach them on-the-job. It certainly would be worth looking into! Good luck!

I have personally found whether a person has attended a program or not made no difference in job performance. What was important was the person's desire to be the best at what he/she could be.

| How much is the book "The Challenge of The Sea" by Arthur C. Clarke worth nowadays? When a local private school was clearing out their library shelves (to get new books), they sold their old books and my sister who happened to study there got me a copy of the said book. It was published in 1960 by Holt, Rinehart, and Winston. The library did not purchase it by itself but it was rather a donation from The Flemming Foundation, Fort Worth, Texas in 1966. It's 50 years old yet the whole book is still intact, the words and illustrations are clear, as if only several years old, perfect condition though the pages and its corners are turning yellow from age, and there are few writings and library seals. Now, how much do you think is this book worth? Moving to Texas, schools for Land Surveying?
I'm moving to Dallas/Fort Worth Texas, and I am wanting to study land surveying. Where are some schools (anywhere) in Texas where I can study surveying? I would prefer the schools to be close to Dallas/Fort Worth, but I really want to become a surveyor, so I'm willing to go just about anywhere in the state. Or somewhere hours away. Thanks!!

Where is a good place to buy a large rock?
Where is a good place to buy a large rock?
I had a plan at my school to create a spirit rock, a rock sitting somewhere at the school with our school colors on it. I'm trying to find a place to buy a large stone. Nothing too giant nor too small. I need to find something that will ship to the school and has to be around the Fort Worth, Texas area. Can anyone help or give me advice or even set me in the right direction? Thanks

Yes, contact a company that sells gravestones or a landscaping firm. There are better ways though both to spend money and promote school spirit. Why don't you get something useful instead like a bench.

Most garden centers sell rock. You buy it by the pound and pay accordingly. If you need a really large one they may deliver for free to the school.

My son took summer school and is still being retained in the second grade; why?
Hi, my son was retained in the second grade. He passed all of his classes, but failed reading with a 66 average. Summer school was recommended by his teacher and I signed him up and he went this summer. His summer school teacher sent a weekly report card home for me to see his progress and sign, his first week he made a 85, second week 90, third week 81, and the fourth and final week he made a 94. His summer school average was a 87.5. After summer school was over I called his school to see if he had been promoted and the principle said that they didn't receive a folder for him. I waited another two weeks and called again and still no answer to my question. After calling many other times and going to the school, the principle finally got back to me and said that my son would be retained. When I asked him why, he said my son didn't meet the minimum requirements for the year to pass to the third grade. I asked him what was summer school for and he said "Well he just didn't do well enough to be promoted." School starts on Tuesday 8/24/2010 and I don't know what to do. I believe my child will do fine in the third grade if given the chance. Can someone help me? My son was so upset and so was I. He couldn't understand why he worked his butt off and missed going to his grandmother's in east Texas to do what was needed to be promoted to the next grade and he is still retained. We live in Fort Worth, Texas and he goes to Crowley ISD. I appreciate any advice. The summer school packet I signed stated " If a student is needing summer school for promotion, he/she must attend 18 out 20 days. Promotion is then determined by his/her school principle." The problem is that if my son didn't have the opportunity for promotion, then why is is stated. Now I have been told that the school doesn't promote 1st or 2nd graders even if they pass summer school. Do you get the same interpretation that the opportunity for promotion was offered from the statements above? I did my job at home as a single parent of three (from a previous marriage) and made sure his work was correct and turned in on time. Also if he fail due to not taking his class serious, he had his punishment by having to miss most of his summer vacation to attend summer school. For all I know it could be discrimination. The other schools in the same district promote under this program. Why is this the only school that doesn't, and why am I the only parent having problems with no kids promoted.

Which should I attend? I have scholarships worth considerable amounts to both, although TCU is much more expensive that U of A. I'm strongly leaning towards TCU. Undecided on a major, possibly biology. TCU is in Fort Worth, Texas and U of A is in Fayetteville, AR. I am from AR. Tell me which school and why! (I know all I need to know about the schools and have visited multiple times and stayed over night with students at each. Just looking for an outside opinion, this is just for fun.)

17 yrs old. done with high school 5 lessons away from having a Career Diploma as a Veterinary Assistant?
Okay I'm 17 years old I finished high school early and I'm five lessons away from having a Career Diploma as a Veterinary Assistant. I was wondering if anyone could help me out with any sites I could look at that are looking for people to hire. I know some sites you have to be 18 or older. But really looking for a place to put my skills at test... a place thats willing to train. I'm getting ready to move in with someone and i need a job. Another online source for classified listings is www.vspn.org A more direct approach would be to put together a letter of intent and a resume and take it around to all the local veterinary clinics in your area. Then even if they aren't actively advertising now, if they need help in the future they will have your information on hand. May I ask why you went with a "career diploma" which basically doesn't count as anything (won't transfer to colleges, won't allow you to sit for the National Veterinary Technician Exam, not required to work as a veterinary assistant in any state) rather than going ahead with a college degree? It's great tht you want to get an education in the career field of your choice, but I'm curious as to your choice. And where you got this "career diploma" from because I've never heard of it. Where should I move: San Antonio, Fort Worth, Tulsa, Oklahoma City, or Atlanta? Why?
These are the urban areas in which I'm considering law school. Which of these do you prefer, not prefer, and why? If you choose to get even more specific: -You can rank the cities -You can give a little inside info about the cities Given the strength of the particular law schools, the regional markets for lawyers, proximity to other great metro areas, and general friendliness of the people, this is my list so far: 1. Top choice - San Antonio: culture, weather, proximity to Austin 2. Fort Worth: nice city, lower humidity, proximity to Dallas 3. Atlanta: fastest-growing metro in the SE, beautiful area 4. (tie) Oklahoma City, Tulsa: Oklahoma is nice, steadily growing, benefits from proximity to Texas I want to attend school in a much friendlier and warmer climate than my current state of Kentucky. I'd go with San Antone too. I met some women from there and all they could talk about was home and all the stuff they have to do there; good food, great nightlife, cool sports. Ft. Worth has a lot of military so there'll probably be lots of chain stuff but still plenty to do. My dad was stationed there in the early 80's, he liked it, mom hated it, I don't remember it Atlanta has lots of traffic, like all the time. But I agree that Georgia is beautiful. The weather won't be as great as TX. I've been to Tulsa, not impressed. People are nice but that's the only up I see.

Atlanta...so much to say....people are materialistic there (but aren't most people these days) but it is a REAL city...not quite New York, London, or Munich but great.... San Antonio..wow...you want to be close to Austin? I despised Austin and have many many relatives there...great shopping and cultural scene but other than that it sucked like a vacuum... San Antonio is worse....I go for the Riverwalk (but I have seen better all around the world) and Sea World, but that is about it...maybe shopping there and in San Marcos Ah Oklahoma.....again, I am a Texan so well, I am biased......but if you live in Kentucky (beautiful state, I have relatives there too) then you can live in Oklahoma Don't just consider the cities the schools are in but the professors, the reputation, the education you will be receiving, what you want to do after law school, where you can make contacts, become a clerk, etc. Good luck.

Checked out Remington College in Fort Worth,Texas,really expensive!Really want to be working in the field w/o years of school.Heard about a 12 week course,not really sure about it.Any suggestions?

The first thing you should do is call your own dentist up, and tell him or her that you really want to work in the field, and would like to talk to him/her for a few minutes when he/she has the time. Most likely, the dentist will be happy to give you his/her opinion, suggestions and be wonderfully flattered that you took the time to come there. If this is a person whom you really admire, and you have a long-standing patient-doctor relationships, you might even be able to get a part-time job there, in the office, or an internship as you work on your studies. How great would that be? Also, the dentist probably has assistants who took different routes to the same job, and they might be willing to talk to you...and the dentist will certainly have an opinion about the better way to go, training-wise. Also, look into community colleges, as they do often have programs that are cheaper per credit-hour than 4-year institutions. Not sure about your state, and its licensing requirements, but sometimes, the dentist is able to take a person with minimal training and teach them on-the-job. It certainly would be worth looking into! Good luck!

You do not need to go to any kind of school to become a dental assistant. The best route is to be hired by a dental office that is willing to train you. I trained all my staff myself. Some states require certification or licensure to be able to perform certain procedures and this is where going through a dental assisting program would benefit you because it prepares you for the exams you will need to pass. I have personally found whether a person has attended a program or not made no difference in job performance. What was important was the person's desire to be the best at what he/she could be.

I would recommend getting a Saturday job at your local bakery. They will advise you the best!

I would recommend working in a professional kitchen before thinking of going to culinary school. School will give you a great basis to start from, but I don't think it really makes a huge difference. All refined techniques are learned on the job. It's much safer to start out actually working in the field rather than spending thousands of dollars on culinary school and then you end up hating your job. It takes a special kind of weirdo to be a kitchen person. There is absolutely no glamor as seen on food network. Days are long and hard but if your one of those weirdos who I spoke of, the industry can be very rewarding. Also, keep in mind, starting out in this industry does not pay all that well until you're the boss or own the company. Then possibilities are endless but the kitchen can easily become your life. I don't mean to make it sound bad, because it's really not, but I definitely recommend testing the waters before shelling out for culinary school. Reading, watching TV and working in the industry can help propel yourself forward without ever stepping foot in a school. If after deciding this is really what you want to do, I'm all for culinary school. You can learn a lot about the science of it all which most people don't think about in the real world. I would recommend working in a professional kitchen before thinking of going to culinary school. School will give you a great basis to start from, but I don't think it really makes a huge difference. All refined techniques are learned on the job. It's much safer to start out actually working in the field rather than spending thousands of dollars on culinary school and then you end up hating your job. It takes a special kind of weirdo to be a kitchen person. There is absolutely no glamor as seen on food network. Days are long and hard but if your one of those weirdos who I spoke of, the industry can be very rewarding. Also, keep in mind, starting out in this industry does not pay all that well until you're the boss or own the company. Then possibilities are endless but the kitchen can easily become your life. When a local private school was clearing out their library shelves (to get new books), they sold their old books and my sister who happened to study there got me a copy of the said book. It was published in 1960 by Holt, Rinehart, and Winston. The library did not purchase it by itself but it was rather a donation from The Flemming Foundation, Fort Worth, Texas in 1966. It's 50 years old yet the whole book is still intact, the words and illustrations are clear, as if only several years old, perfect condition though the pages and its corners are turning yellow from age, and there are few writings and library seals. Now, how much do you think is this book worth? (This was literally bought for a penny ($0.01), if converted into Philippine Pesos)

To which place would you move your family: Fort Worth or Austin?
To which place would you move your family: Fort Worth or Austin?
Hi. I have a family and want to move back to Texas. I have lived in Austin before, but the high cost of living, long hot/humid summers and congestion really got to me. I'm considering moving back to the state (from the midwest) and wonder whether I should think about Fort Worth, and perhaps reconsider Austin. Some of my priorities include low cost of living, short commutes, strong and friendly communities and good schools. If you have an opinion of which city you would prefer, I'd love to hear your thoughts. I'd also like to know if you recently moved to one of the cities and found it easy to make friends. Thanks!

Thats like trying to decide between a vacation to Tampico Mexico or the Bahamas....its a no brainer. Austin without a doubt. I live in DFW and would move back to Austin in a sec of I had the chance. Less crime, better schools, more to do, closer to the beach, better food, better parks, and just a great place. Yes, they have more traffic and it costs more to live there but I would consider the outskirts like San Marcos. Good luck.

There is a nice community by Austin called Lockhart. Its about an hours drive. I lived in Austin while in college, but now that I am a family man, a nice quiet town is where I lay my head.

Fort Worth always has absolutely terrible weather like severe tornadoes, floods, and hail that Dallas doesn't even see.

If you want lower cost of living, then move to FW. I've lived in FW for a long time now, but keep in mind the summers here can also be brutal. Depending on where you decide to live and where to work will determine your commute distance, but usually it takes about 20 to 30 minutes to get anywhere. That CAN vary with traffic conditions. Hey - I love Austin too. But I'd rather visit than live there, because I couldn't afford rent! Hey - email me. I've lived all over FW and can tell you what is scary and what is okay!

Okay I'm 17 years old I finished high school early and I'm five lessons away from having a Career Diploma as a Veterinary Assistant. I was wondering if anyone could help me out with any sites I could look at that are looking for people to hire. I know some sites you have to be 18 or older. But really looking for a place to put my skills at test... a place thats willing to train. I'm getting ready to move in with someone and i need a job. Leaving for Colorado for a month- but ill be back in Ft. Worth. after im done visiting family Fort Worth Texas is the area- if anyone could help it would help a lot!!! Thanks.

There are several job search engines that you could check. One of them is called "Where Techs Connect". The Texas Assoc. of Registered Veterinary Technicians website and newsletter also posts job openings specifically in Texas. www.tarvt.org And the TVMA publication "Texas Veterinarian" posts job openings. Another online source for classified listings is www.vspn.org A more direct approach would be to put together a letter of intent and a resume and take it around to all the local veterinary clinics in your area. Then even if they aren't actively advertising now, if they need help in the future they will have your information on hand. May I ask why you went with a "career diploma" which basically doesn't count as anything (won't transfer to colleges, won't allow you to sit for the National Veterinary Technician Exam, not required to work as a veterinary assistant in any state) rather than going ahead with a college degree? It's great tht you want to get an education in the career field of your choice, but I'm curious as to your choice. And where you got this "career diploma" from because I've never heard of it. Where is a good place to buy a large rock?
Where is a good place to buy a large rock?
I had a plan at my school to create a spirit rock, a rock sitting somewhere at the school with our school colors on it. I'm trying to find a place to buy a large stone. Nothing too giant nor too small. I need to find something that will ship to the school and has to be around the Fort Worth, Texas area. Can anyone help or give me advice or even set me in the right direction? Thanks

Yes, contact a company that sells gravestones or a landscaping firm. There are better ways though both to spend money and promote school spirit. Why don't you get something useful instead like a bench.

Most garden centers sell rock. You buy it by the pound and pay accordingly. If you need a really large one they may deliver for free to the school.

Look around in the yellow pages under the listing "Rocks" you will find many local business's that sell landscaping rocks and boulders. In most cases if you buy a ton or more of rock the delivery will be free.

Im trying to get a job at a hospital for anything but there not hiring me for crap i want to goto school for nursing while working at a hospital. I live in Fort Worth Texas. Help anyone?

Hospitals have jobs for novices such as yourself, and I can't imagine that you wouldn't qualify for one of the unskilled positions. You may not like the job you qualify for, but it will give you an idea of the environment and its challenges. Start nursing school, whether you get a job at a hospital immediately or not. That's the only way to become a nurse.

This is what communirty colleges are for. Receive some kind of specialized training in one nursing area and you'll have your foot in, with access to job placement resources. Local community colleges also tend to have low in-state tuition.

There is a big nursing shortage in Florida. At one hospital here, they are paying tuition with a two yr committment to work there. There are many entry level positions that will be available in any hospital.

If you do not have experience work in a doctors office to get experience. There are other clinics, hospitals, nursing homes, conv home, quest home, etc. just send out 20 resumes at once. Continue education as an RN.

Check into getting a CNA license. Most hospitals need people who are licensed CNA's to work on the floors. In some cases, you might even get sponsorship to complete an RN by working as a CNA. I have a friend who is getting her nursing school paid for because she is working as a CNA for them. You can also check with your local junior college. Whats even better is that financial aid pays for everything as long as you keep your grades up. My son took summer school and is still being retained in the second grade; why?
Hi, my son was retained in the second grade. He passed all of his classes, but failed reading with a 66 average. Summer school was recommended by his teacher and I signed him up and he went this summer. His summer school teacher sent a weekly report card home for me to see his progress and sign, his first week he made a 85, second week 90, third week 81, and the fourth and final week he made a 94. His summer school average was a 87.5. After summer school was over I called his school to see if he had been promoted and the principle said that they didn't receive a folder for him. I waited another two weeks and called again and still no answer to my question. After calling many other times and going to the school, the principle finally got back to me and said that my son would be retained. When I asked him why, he said my son didn't meet the minimum requirements for the year to pass to the third grade. I asked him what was summer school for and he said "Well he just didn't do well enough to be promoted." School starts on Tuesday 8/24/2010 and I don't know what to do. I believe my child will do fine in the third grade if given the chance. Can someone help me? My son was so upset and so was I. He couldn't understand why he worked his butt off and missed going to his grandmother's in east Texas to do what was needed to be promoted to the next grade and he is still retained. We live in Fort Worth, Texas and he goes to Crowley ISD. I appreciate any advice. The summer school packet I signed stated " If a student is needing summer school for promotion, he/she must attend 18 out 20 days. Promotion is then determined by his/her school principle." The problem is that if my son didn't have the opportunity for promotion, then why is is stated. Now I have been told that the school doesn't promote 1st or 2nd graders even if they pass summer school. Do you get the same interpretation that the opportunity for promotion was offered from the statements above? I did my job at home as a single parent of three (from a previous marriage) and made sure his work was correct and turned in on time. Also if he fail due to not taking his class serious, he had his punishment by having to miss most of his summer vacation to attend summer school. For all I know it could be discrimination. The other schools in the same district promote under this program. Why is this the only school that doesn't, and why am I the only parent having problems with no kids promoted.

I would fight the system, and honestly threaten to sue. When my cousin was in first grade, the teacher wanted to hold her back, because she had cancer... Yeah, she didn't get the best grades, but she was totally fine to move on to the next grade. Well, guess what? My aunt hassled the school and they allowed my cousin to enter second grade. It really sucks that they did this to both you and your son. Considering that school starts on Tuesday, they have locked you in a very tight position. Why they chose not to tell you about this sooner, is very irresponsible of them. It's very shameful and pathetic. With the grade your son got in summer school, he is more than qualified to enter the third grade. I wish you the best of luck. I'm really sorry about your situation. :(

I notice you didn't say that they actually told you that if he went to summer school and did well that he would be allowed to go to the third grade. Did they? They may have suggested it only so that he didn't get worse over the summer so that he could pass when he came back.

Which should I attend? I have scholarships worth considerable amounts to both, although TCU is much more expensive that U of A. I'm strongly leaning towards TCU. Undecided on a major, possibly biology. TCU is in Fort Worth, Texas and U of A is in Fayetteville, AR. I am from AR. Tell me which school and why! (I know all I need to know about the schools and have visited multiple times and stayed over night with students at each. Just looking for an outside opinion, this is just for fun.)

I'm lesbian and going to BMS in Fort Worth, Texas. Just moved here from New York, and wow, there are a lot of homophobes here. Not currently open to anyone yet. I'm just wondering if anyone goes to my school and is LGBT or a supporter? Kinda seems like everyone at my school will hate me if I come out to anyone right now.

I am thinking about moving to to Fort Worth Texas...Why is the housing sooo cheap?
I am in Nursing School & I graduate in about a year and we are considering moving to Fort Worth Texas....after we saw HOW cheap the housing was there! We live in Denver and houses are really high. Can anyone offer any advice on the area and tell me what I am about to get myself into=)

We are in Missouri trying to find a house in Arlington/Ft Worth area. We found a house on Donalee in Fort Worth. We have no way of telling if it is a safe area for the kids and good schools. If anyone knows please let me know some info on the area. Thank you. The map shows Donnalee is East of 287 south of Rosedale north of Berry and west of Miller.

That area is called Stop Six, also known as "the hood". It's not as bad as it was in the early 90s though I still wouldn't consider it a good neighborhood. I lived near that area back then and it was a very bad neighborhood with lots of gang violence. Look in Hurst-Euless-Bedford or Grapevine, Colleyville or Southlake. If you prefer to stay in the city look in western part of the city.

trash pickup/water are on the same bill and primarily based on water usage. the trash bill is a constant but the main part of that bill is all about how much water you use. heat and cooling bills are dependent on if you have a gas fired furnace or electric heat or a heat pump. ft worth has very warm summers so you can bet e- bills in the summer will be somewhat higher than in our mild winters. insulation of the dwelling and many other factors, (such as the type of hvac system and the units SEER), also effect heating and cooling bills.

I'm relocating to Fort Worth from Michigan. I'm looking for an apartment and would like to know what aeas are nice. I also have small children and would like to live in a good school district.

When I lived in that area I liked the mid-cities area, that is Hurst Euless Bedford. Its between Dallas and Fort Worth, so you can get to either city easily. Arlington is nice, too. If you want to stick in Fort Worth itself, I would try the Fossil Creek area on the North side. I believe the school district there is called Birdville and is quite good. If you like being close to downtown the TCU area is very nice. Lily B Clayton elementary school is excellent, as is Tangelweed. I loved Fort Worth. I am sure you will too!

Also near the TCU area would be the zoo, the museums,and many parks...but not too many new houses. The north part of Fort Worth, like Birdville is nice and has new development as does the area around Benbrook Lake and to the south, which would be Crowley. Welcome neighbor.

Try Crowley ISD in Fort Worth. It's actually Crowley, TX. but it's just a suburb outside of the main city. I have family that live there and the children attend school in Crowley ISD. It's a nice clean area, with some nice houses and apartments. Have a safe move!

Yes you should go for the RN degree, the pay is up to 53.00 in some hospitals while LVN will only make at the most 27.00. I'm a registered MA and I make what most LVN's make and maybe even more as I've been in the field for 20 years,
