Which city is between Denton and Fort Worth, Texas?

Which city is between Denton and Fort Worth, Texas?
I would like to go to a school in Fort Worth but my roommate will be going to Texas Woman's Universty in Denton, Texas and I would like for us to live somewhere in between the two. Any suggestions?

I go to school in Dallas and it is about a 45 minute drive to Denton and a 40 minute drive to Fort Worth if traffic is good. However, during rush hour it can take much, much longer so you'd have to be careful about giving yourself enough time to get to class.

If you're going to TCU in Fort Worth, that's on the South side of Fort Worth so it would probably be better to live closer to Fort Worth than to Denton. I say this because you will have to drive through more traffic going through Fort Worth and it will take you longer than it will for your roommate to drive South on I-35(W) from Denton. Keller and Roanoke might be good for you. I've included a link from the Apartment Guide for apartments in Roanoke. You'll see there are several near I-35(W). http://www.apartmentguide.com/apartments/Texas/Roanoke/?order=asc&sortby=geocode(33.003900%2C-97.225600) http://www.apartmentguide.com/apartments/Texas/Keller/ You can use this link to research the cities between Fort Worth and Denton. http://www.bestplaces.net/city/Keller-Texas.aspx http://www.bestplaces.net/city/Roanoke-Texas.aspx

Irving City is in Between Denton and Fort Worth

Lewisville, Keller, Roanoke, Grapevine. Grapevine may be good for you, there are apartments in all price ranges, and Grapevine is a neat town. Lewisville is the closest to Denton, the others are kind of in the middle.

Directly between Denton and Fort Worth on Interstate 35 are Haslet and Keller (Roanoke is not far off the interstate; you can get apts as close as 3 miles away) Other than that, there isn't much. Haslet and Keller are nice up and coming surburban areas and there are some apartments. It still has the open country feel from the Interstate but you are not far from shopping. It is still developing. I wouldn't suggest Grapevine; that would be anywhere from 40 to 60 minutes commute to Ft. Worth if you are going to TCU or somewhere near the city center. I'd stick with the Haslet/ Keller area. Another thing to think about; it wouldn't hurt to be in North Fort Worth (the Fossil Ridge area), because commuting into the city would take alot longer for you with all the traffic. Commuting out to Denton would be no traffic; she'd be going opposite from the main flow everyday going and coming. Have you ever considered the University of North Texas? It's a big school in Denton.
