My husband just got a job at TCU and we are looking for a good family neighborhood. Can someone recommend some good family neighborhoods? We have young children, so good elementary school recommendations would be great also.

Here is a link to the Great Schools website that rates individual schools. I've set the search engine to Fort Worth Elementary schools starting with the best rated and declining. You can also read parent's reviews on this website. The first school on the list is Tanglewood Elementary and is rated 10 by the Best Schools website. Tanglewood is 1 or 2 minutes from TCU. I've driven through the neighborhood and it's beautiful. I live in Fort Wort,about 10minutes away from TCU. the neighborhood around TCU is wonderful. FWISD (Fort Worth ISD) however isn't that great. i would recommend Birdville ISD or Saginaw ISD in saginaw. both are about 20minutes away from TCU. maybe even a private school like Trinity Valley, Country Day, Southwest Christian, or Fort Worth Christian. all very good schools.
